Girls' achievements and accomplishments

Outstanding academic achievement and dedication to study, sport and service are acknowledged at Speech Day for Junior School and Speech Night for Senior School. These significant occasions provide us with the opportunity to celebrate our girls' achievements.

St Catherine’s School 2016 HSC results

Year 12 girls performed extremely well in the 2016 HSC.

Katerina Theocharous, our Dux of the School, achieved an ATAR of 99.9, and is one of our four All Rounders, that is, a student who receives 90% or more in at least 10units of HSC study.  In addition, three of our students were described by BOSTES as Top Achievers, receiving 2nd in the State for Latin Continuers and Japanese Beginners and 16th in the State for Mathematics.   St Catherine's had 170 mentions on the BOSTED Distinguished Achievers list for students receiving 90% or above in one or more of their HSC subjects. ​

The Sydney Morning Herald ranked St Catherine's 45th in the State - a commendable result for a genuinely non-selective school.
