Girls' achievements and accomplishments

Outstanding academic achievement and dedication to study, sport and service are acknowledged at Speech Day for Junior School and Speech Night for Senior School. These significant occasions provide us with the opportunity to celebrate our girls' achievements.

St Catherine’s School 2017 HSC results

We are delighted with the academic achievements of our 2017 HSC cohort. 

Bella Li,  our joint Dux of the School, achieved an ATAR of 99.95, ranked 3rd in the state for Physics as a Top Achiever,  and is one of our seven All Rounders, that is, a student who receives 90% or more in at least 10 units of HSC study.  Two of our students were also described as Top Achievers, receiving 3rd in the State for Spanish Continuers and 16th in the State for Mathematics General 2.   St Catherine's had 151 mentions on the NESA Distinguished Achievers list for students receiving 90% or above in one or more of their HSC subjects. ​

The Sydney Morning Herald ranked St Catherine's 57th in the State - a commendable result for a genuinely non-selective school.
