Year 12 have been busy!

What a week for our Year 12s as we finished up Term 3! On Tuesday 25 September we had the Sports Blues Breakfast and it was great to see Ms Amy Ridge (OG 2014) back at St Cath's as guest speaker. Amy has just returned from competing at the FINA Water Polo World Cup on the Australian women's team who won bronze. Blasts from the past resounded in the afternoon as our leavers opened their time capsules put down in Year 7 – all those years ago…

Sporting their PJs, the girls had a giggle or two at their traditional Pyjama Breakfast on the Wednesday morning and then a bit more fun at their annual revue. Teachers survived with not too many red faces. Our guard of honour always sparks the odd tear (and we're not talking about the girls here!) as we watch our Year 12s leave the school gates for the last time.

On Wednesday night we honoured our Year 12 boarder's at their own Valedictory Dinner. Parents travelled some distances to be with them on their special night.

Our official farewell assembly was held on the Thursday with morning tea afterwards and then a chapel service. It's so sweet to hear the youngest in the school, the Kindy choir, singing for the eldest. The girls went home to prepare for their Valedictory Dinner on the Thursday evening where they transformed into swans and danced the night away.

Good luck Year 12, we will miss you.
