We welcome our newest visitors from Hong Kong

Students from the Good Hope School, Hong Kong had the chance to learn about Australian culture in the Research Centre today.

They built cardboard models of the Sydney Opera House and of a kangaroo with a joey resting in her pouch. Ms Mahon spoke about the connection between the Opera House and St Catherine's School with the Opera Theatre having being renamed The Joan Sutherland Theatre (2012) and Dame Joan having been an Old Girl of our school.

The girls from Hong Kong were also given a St Cath's 'passport' with a page dedicated to each Sydney attraction they will be visiting during their time staying with their host sisters.

A very big thank you to Emma Laurence for designing these passports which will be a lasting memento of the special time the girls will share with their homestay families and St Catherine's sisters.
