Thoroughly Modern Millie

​The instruments are packed, the costumes are hanging and the months of focus and dedication are about to pay off. The curtain is about to be lifted on this year's spectacular musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Our senior musicians are putting their hearts and souls into the performance and would be thrilled to see you there supporting them. Isabella Baran in Year 11 plays Miss Dorothy and she said that from the very first rehearsal, the atmosphere has been incredible.

"Thoroughly Modern Millie is an extremely fun, hilarious and above all entertaining show with an array of quirky characters that bring the 1920's to life," she said. "I’m most looking forward to performing for a large audience with my friends."

The show originally opened on Broadway in 2002 and won six Tony awards, including best musical. It tells the story of Millie Dillmount who has moved to New York in search of a new and exciting life.

Over 50 students from St Catherine’s, The Scots College, Cranbrook, Sydney Grammar and Waverley College have been rehearsing for four months to bring it to life.
