Swans say sport for all

Sydney Swans players visited Junior School this week to promote equal sporting opportunities for all.

Three Junior School classes participated in the 'Just Like You!' program run by the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, and supported by the Swans. Players Kurt Tippett and Rhyce Shaw ran activities to show how everyone can participate in a sport no matter what their disability or ability. The girls had a great time learning how to include others.

Sophia Voigt said "I learned that you shouldn't judge people because they have a disability or have differences. I should always remember to have motivation, persist and have a positive attitude."

Charlotte Le Poer Trench said "it was really fun learning about the suggestions of how to include others with disabilities in the games."

The girls had a wonderful time and loved receiving a Sydney Swans cap which they were able to have autographed.
