At Junior School Speech Day, the community heard from Dr Timothy Sharp, Chief Happiness Officer at The Happiness Institute, who gave an address sharing the wisdom of positive psychology in achieving a long and happy life. Girls received awards recognising their achievements and success throughout the year, presented by Dr Julie Townsend and Dr Timothy Sharp. Senior School Speech Night was the final farewell for the outgoing Year 12 girls. Girls in Years 7-12 received awards and Barker House took home the House Cup, having topped the tables in house competitions throughout the year.
Among other awards Rebecca Caton was named Dux for the Class of 2013. Ticky Fullerton, ABC journalist, gave the official address which included a poem describing the potential scenario for each Year 12 girl in 30 years time.
Phoebe Skuse and Ella Deane both presented thought provoking speeches, leaving the audience with smiles on their faces and pride in their hearts. Both Junior School and Senior School events were accompanied by the school's music ensembles, playing and singing to perfection.
