Patterson House were in the pink for Pink Ribbon Day

At the beginning of Week 3, the school saw girls don pink ribbons in their hair in support of the Cancer Council's Pink Ribbon campaign.

The campaign aims to raise awareness about breast and gynaecological cancers, as well as raise funds for prevention programs, support services and vital cancer research. The girls snapped up delicious baked treats at the cake stall held at recess and lunchtime. A delicious array of pink-themed cupcakes, cookies and brownies were available for the girls to buy. Many Patterson girls volunteered to sell Pink Ribbon Day merchandise, encouraging their peers to donate money and to purchase badges, pens and wristbands. Altogether, Patterson House and St Catherine's School helped to raise over $600 which was donated to the campaign.
