Meghan and Danielle to compete at World Championships

​​​Meghan Ridge of Year 12 has been selected in the FINA 2016 World Women’s Youth Water Polo Championship to be held in December. The tournament will be held in Auckland, New Zealand, and will feature 16 of the world's best teams. Meghan is a great student athlete who has managed her time effectively to pursue her water polo goals while studying for the HSC.

Meggie is following in the footsteps of her older sister Amy, who represented Australia in the last world championships in 2014. Danielle Morrissey (OG15) will join Meggie on the team.

Water Polo Australia is pleased to announce the Australian team selected for the FINA World Women’s Youth Water Polo Championships to be held in Auckland, New Zealand in December 2016.

The Sir Owen G. Glenn National Aquatic Centre will host 16 nations from around the world from 12-18 December in the third installment of this prestigious event.

Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Spain, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, South Africa, Russia, U.S.A and hosts New Zealand are all set to line up as part of the Tournament.
