It was a great pleasure to host our new boarders for Sunday lunch last week. As I was on leave this time last year, I invited both our new 2017 and 2018 boarders and, along with Mrs Clancy and Ms McCullah, we sat outside on the last weekend of summer. With a delicious menu of DIY burgers and frozen yoghurt with toppings, it was a wonderful way to spend Sunday afternoon. Half an hour after the girls left, the heavens opened, so it was certainly a well-timed lunch.
Thank you to all the girls (and Mrs Clancy and Ms McCullah) for joining me for lunch. I really enjoyed getting to know you, matching you up with your older sisters, and learning a little about your lives at home and as boarders.
