Friday friends is when you have your own little buddy who you see every Friday. In 6M we have been anticipating our time with our Friday Friends. We are looking forward to helping them in their classroom, reading stories, spending time together and becoming great friends with one another. We will do arts and crafts with them, play with them, spend time at recess together and go to assemblies with them. We really appreciate the time we will have with these girls and this time will be treasured. We can't wait to meet Kindergarten and build relationships that will last forever. We hope they are as excited as we are!

This term in 6M we have been reading the book Wonder by R J Palacio. This book is about a 10-year-old boy named August who suffers from a facial disorder called Treacher Collins syndrome. This syndrome affects how the ears, eyes, cheekbones and chin appear. This inspiring story explains Auggie's journey through his school life and how he faces challenges along the way. The moral of this story is that we should not judge people by their appearance, but by their inner beauty.
