HSC accomplished, now off to Uni!

‚ÄčThis year continues to be positive for indigenous education at St Catherine's. The school works in close partnership with the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation, and in 2015 our two Year 12 students successfully completed their HSC.

Sibby Smith (OG 15), a Wiradjuri woman, from Griffith in Central Australia has been accepted into Sydney University to study for a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology. She will live in St Andrew's College while she studies.

Joyce Williams (OG 15), a descendant from the Kalkadoon and Mununjali tribe in Queensland, lives in Katherine in the Northern Territory. Joyce will complete a Bachelor of Science degree at Melbourne University and live in Ormond College while studying.

This is the first choice of study for both girls, and we congratulate them on their hard work and success.
