Excitement raced through our K-2 classes last week as students were introduced to iPads in the classroom. Teachers and students spent time with an expert iPad educator learning tricks of the trade, exploring concepts and experimenting with this learning tool. Kindergarten girls had fun learning how to use Puppet Pals to support their learning of the farmyard. Year 1 enjoyed becoming cinematographers in preparation for creating their own iMovie and Year 2 collaborated to set up in-class routines and guidelines. Use of iPads in the classroom will focus on supporting and enhancing the curriculum using the three C’s: Collecting information; Collaborative learning; and Creating pieces of work. Students and teachers are thrilled to have this new addition in K-2. Mrs Emma HendersonStage 1 Leader
