Exciting Christmas discoveries in the Junior School!

Thanks to the intrepid reporting from some fine investigative journalists in Stage Two, girls in Junior School were able to make many startling discoveries about Christmas at this week's Christmas Chapel service. Managing to gain unprecedented access to some of the people close to the action in first century Bethlehem, they conveyed some of the controversy, confusion and excitement surrounding the long-awaited birth of Jesus Christ, God's promised king and saviour.

Students sang Christmas carols heartily, celebrating the wonderful occasion that has brought hope to many throughout the world. The service concluded with a rousing rendition of The Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah, conducted for the last time by the delightful Mrs Jenny Birrell.
