新年快乐 Xin Nian Kuai Le! Happy Chinese New Year!

Our Chinese classes have been learning about Chinese New Year celebrations. To herald in the Year of the Pig, Years 7 and 8 have been discussing the zodiac and creating craft origami pigs and string decorations. Years 9 and 10 have been creating traditional fans while decorating with a lucky message using Chinese calligraphy. It is wonderful to see the girls exploring the beautiful traditions of Chinese New Year. Ms Guo and the research centre team have been wonderfully encouraging in assisting the girls and by displaying their work in the research centre.

Wishing our beautiful St Catherine’s community a happy and prosperous New Year!
