Bright, capable and determined

Olivia joined St Catherine’s in Year 4 and has settled in beautifully. She is a bright, capable and determined student who has become a role model for new students. She has made new friends and is becoming involved in many aspects of school life from academics, to sport and music. She strives to do her best in everything she tries.

“Olivia has made so many friends in a short space of time," her mother said.  "She enjoys being at St Catherine's and appreciates that the girls are inclusive, well mannered, polite and caring.  They look out for each other and celebrate each other’s successes.  She really likes her teacher too and relishes the opportunity to do lots of sport and physical activity.

"We have also been very impressed with the school’s attempts to encourage resilience in the girls and to teach them to take responsibility for their actions,”  Olivia's mum added.

The Junior School has a strong focus on positive psychology and girls are encouraged to explore their key strengths and attributes, and develop skills to use them effectively in their daily lives and relationships.
